Technician / Trainee Technician

LAUGFS Eco Sri Limited, a leading BOI registered company under the LAUGFS Holdings Group, plays a vital role in implementing the National Vehicle Emission Testing (VET) programme through its island wide network of testing centers. We are looking for energetic and customer oriented individuals to join our operational team.

The Individual:

We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Technician or Trainee Technician who is eager to learn and perform in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle emission and visual inspections
• Record vehicle details and test results accurately
• Operate diagnostic and emission testing equipment
• Explain procedures and results to customers
• Maintain equipment and centre cleanliness
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Maintain documentation and calibration records
• Assist in training new team members

Candidate Profile

• G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification
• Technical or vocational training in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical fields (NVQ Level or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and testing procedures
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours
